New Orleans local Paulina Stuckey-Cassidy was born to be an
artist. She started drawing at two years of age and just never
stopped. She was completely self taught up until college, in
fact at the age of 14 she began work as the Editorial and
Political Cartoonist for Canadian newspapers.
In college Paulina finally decided to take formal training in art
and illustration. After a short stint in the 1990's as a
professional graphic designer, and with a lot of talent and
vision to offset her nervousness, Paulina launched out as a
successful freelance artist.
She has enjoyed the benefit of her success in being able to
balance commissioned work with personal work, allowing her
art to continue

to evolve. Her style of fantasy worlds has captivated art
collectors from across the country and beyond.
Originally from Canada, Paulina now resides in New Orleans
and translates the cities style into her work. Mystical, her
work is reminiscent of old-time fairy tales. Many of her
prints are hand enhanced, and all the prints are signed by
Paulina. We feature her Vampire and Gothic work at the
boutique.
